Christina & Nickalus Blue Ridge Parkway Elopement

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a National Parkway famous for it’s beautiful views of the Appalachian mountains in the southeastern United States. The parkway is the countries longest linear park and runs 469 miles through Virginia and North Carolina.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most visited parks annually, and allows drivers to cruise along breathtakingly beautiful roads, stopping at overlooks along the way. There are plenty of options for hiking along the route too, ensuring everyone can get out to stretch their legs!

Christina and Nickalus had an absolutely stunning elopement along the parkway back in October of 2021, and we were honored to capture the big day! We started at the Loreli Inn in Brevard, NC before making our way up to the famous road for photos. This time of year in the North Carolina mountains is full of color, as you can see in these images!

The Blue Ridge Mountains are an incredibly romantic mountain range. Did you know they are one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world!? That’s right! An elopement along the Blue Ridge Parkway is sure to turn heads. The bride and groom had many well wishes from passing drivers as they explored this unique part of the country.

The weather can change quickly when driving the parkway, so we recommend bringing layers just in case!
